The question this issue poses
A wholesale imitation-jewellery house that took operating EBITDA from ₹0.11 Cr to ₹7.34 Cr in two years, priced at a third of its only listed comparable's multiple — and which still opened 2.44% below its issue price and closed its first day 7.32% below it.
IPOVista score
Every pillar opens to show the raw metric, the curve it was mapped through, the sub-score and its weight. Disagree with the weighting if you like — the arithmetic is all here.
IPOVista score
Growing and reasonably priced
84% of the scoring model was backed by disclosed data for R.K. Fashion, giving medium confidence. Weights for anything missing were redistributed rather than scored as zero.
Below the line: market sentiment. Capped at 8 of 100 points so a hot grey market can tilt a score but never carry one.

SME platform listing
SME issues trade in larger lot sizes with thinner volumes than mainboard listings, which makes exiting a position harder.

The company
Founded 2010 · Kolkata, West Bengal · 50 employees
R.K. Fashion Accessories designs and sells imitation jewellery under its own brand, City Girl Jewellery, and separately trades branded cosmetics. It does not own factories: the jewellery is made to its designs by third-party contract manufacturers, using copper as the base metal with gold confined to plating and finishing. That keeps the gold content — and therefore the price point and the metal-price exposure — far below real jewellery. Almost all of the business is wholesale: B2B accounted for 90.66% of sales in the quarter to 30 June 2026, sold through wholesale distribution and a shop-in-shop model inside retail partners' stores. The company operates out of Bagree Market in central Kolkata, was incorporated in March 2010 and only converted from a private limited company to a public limited company in February 2026, a few months before this issue.
Revenue comes from two unequal streams: imitation jewellery, which is the business, and the trading of branded cosmetics, which is a secondary line. Within jewellery the mix has been shifting away from pure trading towards goods made to its own designs by contract manufacturers — that rose from 57.47% of jewellery revenue in FY24 to 72.65% in FY26 — and that shift is visible in the margin. Operating EBITDA margin went from 0.86% in FY24 to 16.74% in FY25 to 24.16% in FY26, because designing and specifying a product earns more than reselling someone else's. The model is asset-light on the factory side but increasingly heavy on working capital: the company carries the inventory and the receivables for its wholesale customers, and inventory holding stretched from 38 days in FY24 to 117 days in FY26 to 205 days by June 2026. The IPO money is meant to change the shape of this — ₹8.80 Cr builds an owned plating facility at Baruipur, bringing a finishing step in-house, while ₹5.37 Cr and ₹2.48 Cr fund a B2B showroom on Ezra Street and a B2C store on Rash Behari Avenue, both in Kolkata, which would be the company's first real move beyond wholesale.
What makes it hard to copy
The only durable asset here is distribution rather than product: roughly 120 shop-in-shop counters inside retail partners' stores, which carried 10.66% of FY26 revenue, against a company that owns no manufacturing at all.

Demand
Subscription is hard exchange data. Grey-market premium is not — it is an unofficial quote, shown because readers want it and labelled because it deserves the label.

A category subscribed above 1× is oversubscribed; allotment in that category then runs as a lottery or on a proportionate basis.

Outcome

Work it out
Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.
Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.
One lot is 1600 shares at ₹1,31,200. This issue requires a minimum of 2 lots, so the smallest application is ₹2,62,400. That already exceeds the ₹2,00,000 retail ceiling, so every application here bids into the non-institutional category — which is normal on the SME board. Since April 2022 that category is also allotted by draw of lots for the minimum application when it is oversubscribed, so the odds beside this apply much the same way.
When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.
~32%
chance of one lot, per application
This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.
This issue has listed, so there is a real number instead of a prediction. The grey-market premium is shown beside it for comparison.
