The question this issue poses
A single-boutique Chandigarh jeweller whose revenue doubled and profit more than tripled in the one year immediately before it filed, asking ₹311 a share at 14.48× post-issue FY26 earnings — the question is what that year is worth when the ₹9.37 Cr of profit came with ₹6.70 Cr going out of operations, a ₹18.99 Cr inventory build and ₹7.02 Cr of new short-term bank debt to pay for it.
IPOVista score
Every pillar opens to show the raw metric, the curve it was mapped through, the sub-score and its weight. Disagree with the weighting if you like — the arithmetic is all here.
IPOVista score
Growing and reasonably priced
94% of the scoring model was backed by disclosed data for Omara Ventures, giving high confidence. Weights for anything missing were redistributed rather than scored as zero.
Below the line: market sentiment. Capped at 8 of 100 points so a hot grey market can tilt a score but never carry one.

Leveraged balance sheet
Debt-to-equity of 1.8× leaves limited headroom if demand softens or rates rise.
SME platform listing
SME issues trade in larger lot sizes with thinner volumes than mainboard listings, which makes exiting a position harder.

The company
Founded 2020 · Chandigarh · 17 employees
Omara Ventures India sells designer diamond jewellery from a single boutique on Madhya Marg in Sector 9-C, Chandigarh, under its own brand "Omara". The range is natural diamonds and precious and semi-precious gemstones set in gold, platinum and silver — necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets for weddings, festivals, gifting and daily wear — sold business-to-consumer across a spread of price points, with a customisation service for buyers who want a design altered to their own requirements. The company designs in-house and does not manufacture: jewellery is made to its approved designs, specifications and quality standards by what the prospectus calls its product development and supply arrangement partners, and the company's own work is design, curation, quality review, barcode-level inventory control and the shop floor. Collections are deliberately short runs of selected designs rather than repeating lines, which is how the prospectus frames the brand's premium positioning. Every piece carries the Omara insignia; gold is BIS hallmarked with a HUID and diamonds are graded by laboratories such as the Gemological Institute of America where applicable. The company was incorporated in Haryana on 16 October 2020 as Omara Ventures India Private Limited, moved its registered office to Chandigarh in December 2025 and converted to a public limited company in February 2026. It had 17 people on payroll at 30 June 2026 and holds no immovable property of its own; the boutique sits on a registered 15-year lease running to September 2037.
A retail gross-margin business with a wholesale-sized balance sheet. Revenue from operations was flat at ₹23.19 Cr in FY24 and ₹23.52 Cr in FY25 and then rose 95.00% to ₹45.87 Cr in FY26, while gross profit margin widened from 22.35% to 36.19% to 39.58% and profit after tax went from ₹0.31 Cr to ₹2.73 Cr to ₹9.37 Cr. The mix moved with it: solitaire and diamond jewellery fell from 96.31% of FY24 revenue to 66.96% in FY26 as gold jewellery climbed from 3.69% to 31.80%, which the company attributes partly to higher realisations and commodity spot prices. Demand is local — 82.92% of FY26 revenue came from Chandigarh and 16.34% from Maharashtra — and granular, with no customer above 16.33% of sales and the top ten at 27.32%. Because manufacturing is outsourced, cost sits in purchases rather than payroll: the top supplier took 32.81% of FY26 purchases, the top two 64.57% and the top ten 92.60%, against an employee benefits expense of ₹1.03 Cr. The binding constraint is stock. Inventories stood at ₹43.58 Cr at 31 March 2026 — 92.2% of the ₹47.25 Cr balance sheet — after a ₹18.99 Cr build during FY26, and that build is why operating cash flow was negative ₹6.70 Cr in a year of ₹9.37 Cr of profit. It was funded with debt: total borrowings rose to ₹22.43 Cr, of which ₹18.49 Cr is short-term and ₹14.52 Cr is an ICICI Bank cash credit line guaranteed personally by the promoters and their family and secured on a house in Panchkula owned by them. Pre-issue equity is ₹3.01 Cr of paid-up capital built from ₹1.00 lakh of subscription money at incorporation and a 300:1 bonus issue in December 2025.
What makes it hard to copy
Short, curated collections rather than repeating lines — the company's own framing is that limited design runs preserve exclusivity and the premium positioning of the Omara name — behind an in-house design team, GIA grading and BIS hallmarking on a brand-marked product, and a 15-year registered lease to September 2037 on the Madhya Marg premises.

The numbers
Revenue has compounded at 40.6% a year across the 3 reported financial years.
Figures in ₹ crore, as reported in the prospectus. Interim quarters are not annualised.
Profit and operating margin as a percentage of revenue
At each period end, in ₹ crore. Gearing below each period is borrowings over net worth, from these same figures.
Profit after tax and net cash from operating activities, in ₹ crore. The figure under each period is cash generated per ₹100 of profit.
Above 100% the business collects more cash than it books as profit. Persistently below it, growth is being funded out of working capital.
The price
At the upper band this issue asks a 35.0% discount to the median P/E of the listed peers its own prospectus names.

The peer table does not carry both a P/E and an operating margin for enough companies to plot.
The terms

Outcome

Work it out
Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.
Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.
One lot is 400 shares at ₹1,24,400. This issue requires a minimum of 2 lots, so the smallest application is ₹2,48,800. That already exceeds the ₹2,00,000 retail ceiling, so every application here bids into the non-institutional category — which is normal on the SME board. Since April 2022 that category is also allotted by draw of lots for the minimum application when it is oversubscribed, so the odds beside this apply much the same way.
When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.
~100%
chance of one lot, per application
This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.
This issue has listed, so there is a real number instead of a prediction. The grey-market premium is shown beside it for comparison.

Our read
Grounded only in figures disclosed in the prospectus. This is analysis, not a recommendation.
Straight from the filing
Every figure on this page comes out of these. Go and check them.
Served by the issuer, the exchange or the regulator — never a copy hosted here, so what you open is the filing itself.
The paperwork
How these figures were checked
Reconciled to Omara Ventures's own prospectus and to exchange disclosures, then cross-checked against 7 other independently published compilations of the same filing. Where a stated ratio disagreed with the line items it should come from, the disagreement was settled against the prospectus itself.
The prospectus is the authoritative document. Check anything that matters against it before you act.
