How this issue scores, and why
Every pillar opens to show the raw metric, the curve it was mapped through, the sub-score and its weight. Disagree with the weighting if you like — the arithmetic is all here.
IPOVista score
Broadly well-balanced
63% of the scoring model was backed by disclosed data for Omnitech Engineering, giving medium confidence. Weights for anything missing were redistributed rather than scored as zero.
How this score is builtBelow the line: market sentiment. Capped at 8 of 100 points so a hot grey market can tilt a score but never carry one.

The company
What the business actually does
Founded 2006 · Plot No. 2500, Kranti Gate Main Road, GIDC Lodhika Industrial Estate, Kalawad Road, Metoda, Rajkot 360021, Gujarat, India · 1,807 employees
Omnitech Engineering machines high-precision metal components and assemblies to customer specifications and sells them to industrial equipment manufacturers, mostly outside India. Parts range from 0.003 kg to 503.33 kg, 1.27 cm to 1 metre in diameter and 0.2 cm to 10 metres in length, and go largely into safety-critical positions. By end-use in Fiscal 2025, Energy (oil and gas, wind, power) was 42.35% of revenue from sale of products and services, Motion Control and Automation (drives, motors, flow control, sensors, hydraulics) 35.71%, and Industrial Equipment Systems (aerospace ground support, construction equipment, winches and hoists) 20.12%. It runs three plants in Rajkot, Gujarat and a leased warehouse in Houston, and supplied over 256 customers across 24 countries.
Revenue is contract machining to customer drawings. Omnitech buys carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium and aluminium from third-party suppliers on purchase orders, without long-term supply contracts, and bills for the finished component. Cost of materials consumed including inventory changes was Rs 812.61 million in Fiscal 2025, 27.69% of total expenses. The structural constraint is capital intensity: three plants spanning 80,802.68 square metres carried Rs 3,306.27 million of borrowings against Rs 2,044.37 million of net worth at March 31, 2025, with Rs 297.34 million of finance cost and Rs 385.19 million of depreciation that year. Exports were 74.95% of Fiscal 2025 revenue from operations; the top ten customers 47.87%. Order book was Rs 17,647.84 million at September 30, 2025.

Hover or focus a segment to see who it is. The two bars are the same company, measured before and after the offer.
Percentages are of paid-up equity, and the “after” column assumes the offer is fully subscribed, which is how the offer document states it. This record does not disclose a pre- and post-issue share count, so the part of the company actually changing hands is not split out — everyone who is not a promoter is shown together.

What the market is bidding
Subscription is hard exchange data. Grey-market premium is not — it is an unofficial quote, shown because readers want it and labelled because it deserves the label.
Subscription by category
Cumulative bid multiples at the end of day 3. Anchor allocations are excluded.
Hover or focus a category to see who bids in it.
A category subscribed above 1× is oversubscribed; allotment in that category then runs as a lottery or on a proportionate basis.

What an allotment is worth now, before costs
Work it out
What this means for one application
Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.
What one application costs
Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.
- Shares applied for
- 66
- At cut-off price
- ₹227.00
- Amount blocked
- ₹14,982
One lot is 66 shares at ₹14,982. Retail applications are capped at ₹2,00,000, which allows up to 13 lots here — apply for more and you are bidding as a non-institutional investor instead.
Odds of getting an allotment
When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.
~100%
chance of one lot, per application
- Retail subscription
- 0.33×
- Applicants per share available
- 0.3× the retail quota
This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.

Our read
The case for and against
Grounded only in figures disclosed in the prospectus. This is analysis, not a recommendation.
What works
- Revenue was Rs 342.91 Cr in FY25 against Rs 178.18 Cr in FY24, a rise of 92.45%, and EBITDA was Rs 117.65 Cr against Rs 64.94 Cr, a rise of 81.17%.
- EBITDA margin was 35.79% in FY23 (Rs 63.46 Cr on Rs 177.33 Cr), 36.45% in FY24 (Rs 64.94 Cr on Rs 178.18 Cr) and 34.31% in FY25 (Rs 117.65 Cr on Rs 342.91 Cr), above 34% in each of the three years on record.
- Net worth was Rs 59.9 Cr at FY23 and was higher in each of the two transitions the record carries, at Rs 78.81 Cr for FY24 and Rs 204.44 Cr for FY25.
- The record states an order book of Rs 17,647.84 million at 30 September 2025, which is Rs 1,764.78 Cr, or 5.15 times FY25 revenue of Rs 342.91 Cr.
What to weigh against it
- Total borrowings were Rs 88.81 Cr at FY23 and were higher in each of the two transitions on record, at Rs 230.49 Cr for FY24 and Rs 330.63 Cr for FY25. Set against net worth, that is 1.48 times at FY23 (Rs 88.81 Cr on Rs 59.9 Cr), 2.92 times at FY24 (Rs 230.49 Cr on Rs 78.81 Cr) and 1.62 times at FY25 (Rs 330.63 Cr on Rs 204.44 Cr).
- Finance cost of Rs 297.34 million and depreciation of Rs 385.19 million in Fiscal 2025 total Rs 68.25 Cr, which is 58.01% of FY25 EBITDA of Rs 117.65 Cr.
- Profit after tax was Rs 32.29 Cr in FY23 and Rs 18.91 Cr in FY24, a fall of 41.44%, while revenue across those same two years was Rs 177.33 Cr and Rs 178.18 Cr, a rise of 0.48%. FY25 profit after tax of Rs 43.87 Cr on revenue of Rs 342.91 Cr is a margin of 12.79%, below the 18.21% of FY23 (Rs 32.29 Cr on Rs 177.33 Cr).
- The record puts exports at 74.95% of Fiscal 2025 revenue from operations and the top ten customers at 47.87%, and states that raw materials are bought from third-party suppliers on purchase orders, without long-term supply contracts.
Easy to miss in the prospectus
- The record carries a single subscription row, the day-3 figure dated 27 February 2026; day 1 and day 2 are absent, as are the anchor book and the category allocation.
- Valuation is null and the offer objects list is empty, so what the Rs 418 Cr fresh issue was raised for is not stated in this record.
- Between the Rs 204.93 close on listing day, 5 March 2026, and Rs 635.60 at 23 October 2026 the record holds no intermediate price points and no post-FY25 financial periods.
