IPOVista score
How this issue scores, and why
Every pillar opens to show the raw metric, the curve it was mapped through, the sub-score and its weight. Disagree with the weighting if you like — the arithmetic is all here.
IPOVista score
Broadly well-balanced
63% of the scoring model was backed by disclosed data for Harikanta Overseas, giving medium confidence. Weights for anything missing were redistributed rather than scored as zero.
How this score is builtBelow the line: market sentiment. Capped at 8 of 100 points so a hot grey market can tilt a score but never carry one.

SME platform listing
SME issues trade in larger lot sizes with thinner volumes than mainboard listings, which makes exiting a position harder.
The IPOVista Score is a transparent summary of disclosed fundamentals and issue terms. It is research, not investment advice, and it cannot predict listing performance.
The company
What the business actually does
Founded 2018 · Surat, Gujarat, India · 111 employees
Harikanta Overseas weaves synthetic fabric in Surat, Gujarat. Its range covers saree fabric, dhupion, poly linen, polyester garment fabric, Ikat and natural-fibre cloth, sold mainly as dress material for women's wear — sarees, dress materials and kurtas — with some fabric for men's kurtas; most of what it makes ends up in sarees. The promoters' family worked manual power looms from home before they incorporated this company in October 2018 to reach export markets. It started out supplying merchant exporters and Surat buyers, then shipped directly to Cambodia, Bahrain, Singapore and Thailand while adding domestic customers in Delhi, Bangalore, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. Weaving runs from a 953.93 sq. m. unit at Bamroli, staffed by 111 permanent employees as of 28 February 2026.
Revenue is woven fabric sold by the metre, plus export duty drawback — ₹67.90 lakh of the ₹26.08 Cr of operating revenue booked in the eight months to 30 November 2025. Yarn dominates cost: material consumed absorbed 42.85% of total income in that period and employee cost 14.91%. Yarn is bought in the local Surat market through a group proprietorship, Harikanta Yarns, with no long-term supply agreement, so margin tracks yarn prices. Loom capacity is the binding constraint — FY25 utilisation ran between 88.61% and 95.79% across the six product lines — which is why the issue earmarked ₹5.40 Cr for a factory building and ₹9.33 Cr for looms and machinery, against ₹4.75 Cr for working capital.

Hover or focus a segment to see who it is. The two bars are the same company, measured before and after the offer.
Percentages are of paid-up equity, and the “after” column assumes the offer is fully subscribed, which is how the offer document states it. This record does not disclose a pre- and post-issue share count, so the part of the company actually changing hands is not split out — everyone who is not a promoter is shown together.

What the market is bidding
Subscription is hard exchange data. Grey-market premium is not — it is an unofficial quote, shown because readers want it and labelled because it deserves the label.
Subscription by category
Cumulative bid multiples at the end of day 6. Anchor allocations are excluded.
Hover or focus a category to see who bids in it.
A category subscribed above 1× is oversubscribed; allotment in that category then runs as a lottery or on a proportionate basis.

What an allotment is worth now, before costs
Work it out
What this means for one application
Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.
What one application costs
Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.
- Shares applied for
- 2,400
- At cut-off price
- ₹91.00
- Amount blocked
- ₹2,18,400
One lot is 1200 shares at ₹1,09,200. This issue requires a minimum of 2 lots, so the smallest application is ₹2,18,400. That is how the SME board is built rather than a quirk of this issue: the minimum application is set above the ₹2,00,000 that caps a retail bid on the mainboard — two lots rather than one. The smallest bid here still sits in the individual investors’ category, the one the subscription figures call retail, and when that category is oversubscribed the minimum application is allotted by draw of lots — so the odds beside this apply directly.
Odds of getting an allotment
When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.
~100%
chance of one lot, per application
- Retail subscription
- 0.66×
- Applicants per share available
- 0.7× the retail quota
This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.

Our read
Easy to misread
Grounded only in figures disclosed in the prospectus. This is analysis, not a recommendation.
Easy to miss in the prospectus
- The series breaks at FY25: FY23 and FY24 are standalone, FY25 and the eight-month stub are consolidated after Harikanta Weaving Private Limited became a wholly-owned subsidiary on 12 November 2024. Revenue rising from ₹11.11 Cr in FY24 to ₹35.17 Cr in FY25 is therefore not like-for-like.
- The last row is an eight-month stub to 30 November 2025, not a full year, so its ₹26.08 Cr revenue and ₹5.09 Cr PAT are not comparable with the annual rows above it — note its EBITDA of ₹7.35 Cr already exceeds the full FY25 figure of ₹6.72 Cr.
- The revenue mix inverts across the same break: exports were 95.90% of FY23 revenue and 95.21% of FY24 (domestic sales were effectively nil in FY24), against 44.24% in FY25 once the weaving subsidiary was consolidated.
