The company

What the business actually does

Founded 2014 · Mundhwa, Pune, Maharashtra · 24 employees

Robokidz Eduventures builds and equips robotics, AI and STEM laboratories inside schools. A typical engagement is a laboratory setup project: the company designs the lab, supplies robotics, electronics and microcontroller kits — Autobotix, Mechbotix, Grabot, AIoT, Paper Circuits and Renewable Energy kits among them — installs and commissions the room, then trains teachers and supplies curriculum. Much of this work is won through government tenders, including Atal Tinkering Labs under NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission, alongside private schools and CSR-funded projects. A second line sells subscription learning programmes under the Young Engineers Garage brand, plus workshops, boot camps, summer camps and manpower deployment. A wholly owned subsidiary, Robokidz Retails, franchises Young Engineers Academy activity centres. The company is based in Mundhwa, Pune, and had 24 on-roll employees at 31 March 2026.

Revenue is two-tier. Laboratory setup projects — hardware, installation and training invoiced against project milestones — brought Rs 72.02 Cr, or 77.25% of FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 93.22 Cr. Subscription services added Rs 11.93 Cr (12.80%) and other educational services Rs 9.28 Cr. Cost is mostly bought-in components and kits assembled against each project's bill of materials; employee benefit expense was just Rs 1.84 Cr in FY26 across 24 staff. The structural constraint is working capital and concentration: tender-driven work ties up receivables and inventory, total borrowings reached Rs 29.80 Cr against net worth of Rs 20.67 Cr, the top ten customers were 77.99% of FY26 revenue, and Maharashtra alone was 53.04%.

Percentages are of paid-up equity, and the “after” column assumes the offer is fully subscribed, which is how the offer document states it. What an allotment is worth now, before costs

Work it out

What this means for one application

Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.

What one application costs

Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.

Lots
2 lots, 2400 shares, ₹2,54,400 blocked
Shares applied for
2,400
At cut-off price
₹106.00
Amount blocked
₹2,54,400

One lot is 1200 shares at ₹1,27,200. This issue requires a minimum of 2 lots, so the smallest application is ₹2,54,400. That is how the SME board is built rather than a quirk of this issue: the minimum application is set above the ₹2,00,000 that caps a retail bid on the mainboard — two lots rather than one. The smallest bid here still sits in the individual investors’ category, the one the subscription figures call retail, and when that category is oversubscribed the minimum application is allotted by draw of lots — so the odds beside this apply directly.

Odds of getting an allotment

When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.

~0.1%

chance of one lot, per application

Retail subscription
807.12×
Applicants per share available
807.1× the retail quota

This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.

Our read

The case for and against

Grounded only in figures disclosed in the prospectus. This is analysis, not a recommendation.

What works

  • Revenue grew in both years the record carries: from Rs 38.17 Cr in FY24 to Rs 58.75 Cr in FY25, a rise of 53.92%, and to Rs 93.22 Cr in FY26, a rise of 58.67%. Profit after tax rose 105.79% (Rs 2.42 Cr to Rs 4.98 Cr) and then 102.01% (Rs 4.98 Cr to Rs 10.06 Cr) over the same two steps.
  • EBITDA was Rs 4.89 Cr on revenue of Rs 38.17 Cr in FY24, a margin of 12.81%; the margin reads 15.32% in FY25 (Rs 9.00 Cr on Rs 58.75 Cr) and 17.87% in FY26 (Rs 16.66 Cr on Rs 93.22 Cr). The PAT margin reads 6.34%, 8.48% and 10.79% across the same three years.
  • Net worth was Rs 4.38 Cr in FY24, Rs 10.61 Cr in FY25 and Rs 20.67 Cr in FY26, a multiple of 4.72 times across the three years on record. Total borrowings stood at 3.26 times net worth in FY24 (Rs 14.29 Cr on Rs 4.38 Cr), 1.45 times in FY25 (Rs 15.34 Cr on Rs 10.61 Cr) and 1.44 times in FY26 (Rs 29.80 Cr on Rs 20.67 Cr).
  • The offer carried no offer-for-sale component: the Rs 31.09 Cr total size is entirely fresh issue, with the OFS field at nil. Promoter holding goes from 72.33% pre-issue to 52.80% post-issue, a reduction of 19.53 percentage points.

What to weigh against it

  • The record states that the top ten customers accounted for 77.99% of FY26 revenue and that Maharashtra alone accounted for 53.04%; it also describes much of the laboratory work as won through government tenders, including Atal Tinkering Labs under NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission.
  • Total borrowings rose in both years the record carries: Rs 14.29 Cr in FY24, Rs 15.34 Cr in FY25 (up 7.35%) and Rs 29.80 Cr in FY26 (up 94.26%). FY26 borrowings of Rs 29.80 Cr sit against net worth of Rs 20.67 Cr and against the fresh issue size of Rs 31.09 Cr.
  • At Rs 127.10 on 23 October 2026 the price is 36.89% below the Rs 201.40 listing price and 39.89% below the Rs 211.45 day-one close, while standing 19.91% above the Rs 106 band top. The listing price itself was 90% above that band top.
  • Revenue of Rs 93.22 Cr in FY26 was carried by 24 on-roll employees at 31 March 2026, Rs 3.88 Cr per employee, with employee benefit expense of Rs 1.84 Cr, equal to 1.97% of revenue. The record notes the cost base is mostly bought-in components and kits assembled against each project's bill of materials.

Easy to miss in the prospectus

  • The FY26 revenue split against which later periods can be read: laboratory setup Rs 72.02 Cr (77.25%), subscription services Rs 11.93 Cr (12.80%) and other educational services Rs 9.28 Cr, on revenue from operations of Rs 93.22 Cr.
  • Leverage as this record reports it: borrowings of Rs 29.80 Cr against net worth of Rs 20.67 Cr at 31 March 2026, a ratio of 1.44 times, down from 3.26 times in FY24.
  • This archive record carries no cash flow from operations, total assets, expense lines, valuation, offer objects, peer set, allocation split or anchor book for any period, so working capital and pricing cannot be read from it directly; the subscription table holds a single day-three row (QIB 306.73x, NII 1593x, retail 807.12x, total 833.56x).
