How this issue scores, and why

Every pillar opens to show the raw metric, the curve it was mapped through, the sub-score and its weight. Disagree with the weighting if you like — the arithmetic is all here.

IPOVista score 72 out of 100, graded Strong.

IPOVista score

Broadly well-balanced

63% of the scoring model was backed by disclosed data for NFP Sampoorna Foods, giving medium confidence. Weights for anything missing were redistributed rather than scored as zero.

  • SME platform listing

SME issues trade in larger lot sizes with thinner volumes than mainboard listings, which makes exiting a position harder.

The company

What the business actually does

Founded 2019 · New Delhi, Delhi · 140 employees

NFP Sampoorna Foods processes and trades dry fruits, with cashews at the centre of the business. It imports raw cashew nuts directly from farms in African countries, then shells and grades them in-house into cashew kernels of various grades, selling to wholesalers, institutional buyers and households across India. It also resells raw cashew nuts without processing. Health-snack lines were added later: makhana (fox nuts) from August 2024, almonds from March 2025 and walnuts from September 2025. A side trade imports cashew husk from Africa and supplies it to tanning units in India. The company sells through B2B, B2C and government (B2G) channels, had 140 employees as on 30 November 2025, and operates from Rama Road, New Delhi.

Revenue is almost entirely cashew. In the eight months to 30 November 2025, processing cashew kernels brought Rs 20.42 Cr (55.37% of revenue from operations) and reselling raw cashew nuts Rs 15.65 Cr (42.45%); makhana and almonds together were under 1.6%. Raw material dominates cost — cost of material consumed was 36.09% of revenue in that period and 41.07% in FY25 — and 53.82% of raw material was imported. The structural constraint is working capital: inventory ran 85 days and the working-capital cycle 104 days, borrowings reached Rs 24.94 Cr against net worth of Rs 15.70 Cr, and the issue earmarked Rs 9.50 Cr to repay borrowings and Rs 7.25 Cr for working capital.

Percentages are of paid-up equity, and the “after” column assumes the offer is fully subscribed, which is how the offer document states it. This record does not disclose a pre- and post-issue share count, so the part of the company actually changing hands is not split out — everyone who is not a promoter is shown together.

Subscription is hard exchange data. Grey-market premium is not — it is an unofficial quote, shown because readers want it and labelled because it deserves the label.

What an allotment is worth now, before costs

Work it out

What this means for one application

Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.

What one application costs

Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.

Lots
2 lots, 4000 shares, ₹2,20,000 blocked
Shares applied for
4,000
At cut-off price
₹55.00
Amount blocked
₹2,20,000

One lot is 2000 shares at ₹1,10,000. This issue requires a minimum of 2 lots, so the smallest application is ₹2,20,000. That is how the SME board is built rather than a quirk of this issue: the minimum application is set above the ₹2,00,000 that caps a retail bid on the mainboard — two lots rather than one. The smallest bid here still sits in the individual investors’ category, the one the subscription figures call retail, and when that category is oversubscribed the minimum application is allotted by draw of lots — so the odds beside this apply directly.

Odds of getting an allotment

When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.

~36%

chance of one lot, per application

Retail subscription
2.77×
Applicants per share available
2.8× the retail quota

This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.

Our read

Easy to misread

Grounded only in figures disclosed in the prospectus. This is analysis, not a recommendation.

Easy to miss in the prospectus

  • There is no clean FY24. The year is split across the 20/21 December 2023 conversion from partnership firm to company: the firm earned Rs 17.01 Cr to 20 December 2023 and the company Rs 6.00 Cr from 21 December 2023 to 31 March 2024. Trackers that print only the Rs 6.00 Cr stub against "FY24" make revenue look as though it collapsed from Rs 16.75 Cr in FY23.
  • The latest column is an eight-month stub (1 April to 30 November 2025), not a full year, so Rs 36.88 Cr of revenue is not comparable with FY25's Rs 35.64 Cr. The prospectus marks this column "Not Annualized".
  • The two earliest columns are the predecessor partnership firm M/s Nut and Food Processor, not the listed company. The prospectus states that because of the change in legal status and part-year operations, the ratios for these periods "are not strictly comparable with those of the preceding periods".
  • Net worth falls from Rs 8.54 Cr (FY23) to Rs 5.14 Cr (December 2023) before rising again. This straddles the conversion and reflects partners' capital being settled, not trading losses — PAT was positive in every period shown.
