IPOVista score
How this issue scores, and why
Every pillar opens to show the raw metric, the curve it was mapped through, the sub-score and its weight. Disagree with the weighting if you like — the arithmetic is all here.
IPOVista score
A trade-off in both directions
63% of the scoring model was backed by disclosed data for Armour Security, giving medium confidence. Weights for anything missing were redistributed rather than scored as zero.
How this score is builtBelow the line: market sentiment. Capped at 8 of 100 points so a hot grey market can tilt a score but never carry one.

SME platform listing
SME issues trade in larger lot sizes with thinner volumes than mainboard listings, which makes exiting a position harder.
The IPOVista Score is a transparent summary of disclosed fundamentals and issue terms. It is research, not investment advice, and it cannot predict listing performance.
The company
What the business actually does
Founded 1999 · New Delhi, Delhi · 1,646 employees
Armour Security (India) supplies security guards, supervisors, housekeepers and other contract staff to institutional clients across India, and handles housekeeping and facility upkeep at client premises. It was incorporated in New Delhi in 1999 and still operates from the Defence Colony address that serves as its registered office. The work splits into two lines: security manpower, meaning guards, supervisors and security officers deployed at client sites, and integrated facility management, which in practice is largely housekeeping, alongside other manpower and supervision contracts covering data entry operators and multi-tasking staff. Customers are largely institutional and government bodies won through competitive tenders. As on 9 December 2025 the company had 37 permanent employees and 1,609 contractual workers, among them 592 security personnel and 729 housekeepers.
Revenue is billed per deployed head on service contracts. FY25 revenue from operations was Rs 35.66 crore: 47% security manpower, 32% other manpower and supervision, 21% housekeeping. Wages are the business — employee related expenses were Rs 27.66 crore in FY25, or 77.57% of revenue from operations, down from 84.54% in FY23 — leaving FY25 EBITDA of Rs 4.97 crore and PAT of Rs 3.97 crore. The two structural constraints are customer concentration, with the top 10 customers at 76.48% of FY25 revenue and renewals decided by competitive bidding, and working capital, since staff are paid before institutional clients settle. That is why Rs 15.11 crore of the Rs 26.51 crore raise was earmarked for working capital.

Hover or focus a segment to see who it is. The two bars are the same company, measured before and after the offer.
Percentages are of paid-up equity, and the “after” column assumes the offer is fully subscribed, which is how the offer document states it. This record does not disclose a pre- and post-issue share count, so the part of the company actually changing hands is not split out — everyone who is not a promoter is shown together.

What the market is bidding
Subscription is hard exchange data. Grey-market premium is not — it is an unofficial quote, shown because readers want it and labelled because it deserves the label.
Subscription by category
Cumulative bid multiples at the end of day 3. Anchor allocations are excluded.
Hover or focus a category to see who bids in it.
A category subscribed above 1× is oversubscribed; allotment in that category then runs as a lottery or on a proportionate basis.

Work it out
What this means for one application
Three calculations, each stating the assumption it rests on.
What one application costs
Shares are applied for in whole lots at the cut-off price. The full amount is blocked in your bank account under ASBA, not debited, until allotment.
- Shares applied for
- 4,000
- At cut-off price
- ₹57.00
- Amount blocked
- ₹2,28,000
One lot is 2000 shares at ₹1,14,000. This issue requires a minimum of 2 lots, so the smallest application is ₹2,28,000. That is how the SME board is built rather than a quirk of this issue: the minimum application is set above the ₹2,00,000 that caps a retail bid on the mainboard — two lots rather than one. The smallest bid here still sits in the individual investors’ category, the one the subscription figures call retail, and when that category is oversubscribed the minimum application is allotted by draw of lots — so the odds beside this apply directly.
Odds of getting an allotment
When the retail category is oversubscribed, SEBI requires a lottery for the minimum lot. Every application has the same chance, whatever its size.
~39%
chance of one lot, per application
- Retail subscription
- 2.58×
- Applicants per share available
- 2.6× the retail quota
This is an estimate of a lottery, not a prediction. Actual odds depend on the final basis of allotment, how many applications were at the minimum lot, and rejections for technical reasons. Applying from multiple distinct PANs is the only legitimate way to hold more tickets in that lottery.

Our read
Easy to misread
Grounded only in figures disclosed in the prospectus. This is analysis, not a recommendation.
Easy to miss in the prospectus
- Net worth quadrupled between FY23 and FY24 (Rs 3.49 cr to Rs 14.46 cr) on a non-cash share issue, not on earnings. Share capital went from Rs 1.00 lakh to Rs 1,222.00 lakh while reserves FELL from Rs 348.06 lakh to Rs 223.82 lakh: 64,00,000 shares were allotted to the promoters on 26 December 2023 for consideration other than cash against the Defence Colony property (valued at Rs 6.40 cr), and a bonus issue capitalised reserves. Return on net worth therefore drops from 64.65% (FY23) to 18.10% (FY24) with no deterioration in the business.
- Roughly half of the FY25 profit increase is non-operating. PAT rose Rs 1.36 cr over FY24, of which Rs 0.74 cr is the increase in other income, which jumped from Rs 0.17 cr (FY24) to Rs 0.91 cr (FY25). The EBITDA figures above exclude other income by the prospectus's own definition (PBT + depreciation + finance cost - other income), so EBITDA and PAT are not comparable across the two years on a like basis.

Reconciled to Armour Security's own prospectus and to exchange disclosures, then cross-checked against 5 other independently published compilations of the same filing. Where a stated ratio disagreed with the line items it should come from, the disagreement was settled against the prospectus itself.
